My Project

Thank you for taking interest in my project! I am building a sensory corner for my students with Autism. I work in a 6:1:1 High School setting. Although my students love to learn, new tasks or environmental factors may become overwhelming. To keep our students from having escalating behaviors, I would like to provide them with a calm corner with items that can provide sensory input. A place for them to center themselves and continue learning in the classroom will allow them to enjoy school and continue on with their day.
