Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the privilege of working with a wonderful group of students on the autism spectrum. As part of our commitment to creating a more inclusive and supportive learning environment, we are planning a special Autism Awareness Celebration in our classroom. I am reaching out to you to help make this event a significant experience for our students.

Our goal is to create an atmosphere that celebrates neurodiversity and fosters an understanding of autism while supporting each student's sensory and emotional needs.

To achieve this, we hope to secure donations to help us provide decorations and sensory tools to make the celebration fun, engaging, and accessible for all students. We are requesting fun sensory items for our neurotypical students to explore when they enter our classroom. A tunnel and tent are great additions to add in our room! We are wanting to pass out stickers to celebrate Autism!
