My Project

The magnetic whiteboards will be used daily, several times throughout the day. It will be used especially during whole class lessons and activities. The magnetic whiteboard will help me showcase modeled lessons, guided practice and to record modeled strategies in all subjects when students come together on the rug. It will provide an easy place for them to show and share their work and allow me to see exactly what they know or need to know.

Many of the materials will allow my students to feel secure, help them focus, calm them down, and relax them.

Often my students need a little extra push to help them stay focused. These materials will be used to help create a calm corner that my students can utilize when needed. The beanbag chairs, plushie, and handheld sensory objects will give them an outlet to help while in the calm corner. This will help my students bounce back and continue to work.

In addition to being able to have a calm corner when needed my students enjoy expressing themselves through art activities. They will be able to use their creativity by coloring, painting, and drawing to either illustrate work or complete a project.
