My Project

As a special education teacher in a low-income, high-poverty school district, my students face daily challenges both inside and outside the classroom. Despite these obstacles, I am committed to providing them with positive and meaningful learning experiences.

My students mean the world to me!

They love being read to and thrive on positive attention. Many come from single-parent households and qualify for free lunch due to their socioeconomic status. These circumstances may limit their early opportunities and prevent them from having the life experiences many consider "typical."

From the moment they step into my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth. I emphasize their strengths, not their disabilities. While I can't control their home lives, I can certainly shape their experiences during the school day. I am fortunate to spend time with my students every day, and through creative and positive methods, I hope to inspire even our youngest learners to stay on the path toward academic success.

By receiving audiobooks for my students with special needs, they would gain numerous valuable skills, including effective communication, enhanced literacy, academic growth, and more.

I'm incredibly excited about this opportunity for them.

With audiobooks, subjects can come to life! This multi-sensory approach would broaden their knowledge and integrate technology in the classroom, offering an amazing way to explore all subjects!
