Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

An Audible Subscription will help my students read books. This will allow them to listen to books while they read them which in turn helps them with fluency and understanding. Listening to an audiobook is an excellent way to take a break from screen time. It’s also an easy way to build listening retention and comprehension skills, which are just as essential as reading comprehension, and allow students who struggle with decoding to demonstrate mastery. The students are learning how to write a personal narrative of their own, by listening to audiobooks they will learn about how others have written personal narratives and what a good narrative looks like.
