Audio Equipment to Create Student Podcasts & Save Teacher Voices!

My Project

Our students have been learning about podcasting for the past few years, but we've struggled to effectively record and create our own podcasts! I teach in a large, double classroom with over 50 students which can make it hard for some kids to hear; the new speaker system will alleviate those sound struggles!

These new RODE microphones and Sony Sound system will help us create a classroom recording studio for podcasts and more!

Students will record pre-written essays for a podcast about US history. After we've practiced these recordings, students will have the chance to create more podcasts on a variety of topics!

The Sony speakers and receiver will allow the microphones to connect directly to a classroom sound system amplifying teacher and student voices. With the new speakers, teachers will save their voices allowing us to be more energetic in the classroom.

Students will use the whole new audio setup to practice public speaking and get ready for our end-of-the-year speeches.
