Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At a young age, children are learning to be in school. Learning to be in school means being around a big group of others your age, learning new things, and paying attention. When a child is introduced to an environment like a Pre-K class, many things can cause distractions: the toys, the colors, the new friends, and even all the activities.

Attention grabbers help the teacher bring the students back to focus on their required activities.

Attention grabbers can even be used as a tool for transitioning to the next activity. Using the voice amplifier, I can ensure the children can hear me without having to raise my voice over their excitement, and the doorbell will help them refocus on activities when necessary. The vinyl dots will help to create an area on the floor that is easy to clean but where the children can gather for circle time.
