My Project

This year, my students are an extremely sweet, curious, and active group of Kindergarten students on the Autism Spectrum. Most are nonverbal students who need visual representations for any verbal language that we use in the classroom. My school has one black and white printer available for 10 classrooms. I need a color printer at school to help me create the color visuals that I need. My home printer isn't cutting it. I am also requesting educational materials-for example, tactile letters and numbers, a big book kit that helps the text come alive, etc. These materials will help us to focus on the Kindergarten curriculum in a way that is tactile or sensory to help us gain and sustain the students' attention.
