My Project

The specific items I am requesting will make a huge difference this upcoming track season. You want to know how right? Well, my students will use the mini hurdles to work on footwork drills to help improve their skills of movement and quickness, while building legs and calf muscles. The shotput balls will be used to practice their throwing skills while getting their forms in shape and corrected before competing. The laser timer will be used to clock every student time while practicing distance and sprint races, this will help them prepare for competition days by knowing their time ahead of time. Most of the equipment will be used to strengthen students' skills during practice time. Due to our current lack of equipment, I want the students to have the opportunity to compete with the donated equipment.

The goal for this project is for it to be fully funded when our season starts in 2 weeks with a brand-new group of 6th-8th graders.

I am seeking the proper support for new equipment to teach the skills to make this a great and successful track season for all of those involved. I would love to reach this goal of it being fully funded so we can work towards our team goals by being physically ready.

What makes my students special is even though they are a small school at a disadvantage, we always make up in heart, drive, and determination. They will fight until there is no more fight left. So, with that being said this small school with less than 270 students along with little to no resources is strong, ready to fight hard, run hard, and that's what makes them special.
