This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recently a new Promethean board was placed in my classroom which is not attached to my computer and I need a wireless keyboard and a document camera to provide my students with the best learning experience. This will help them see the words of the book I'm reading.

One of my students favorite activity is read aloud.

Since so many of them struggle reading they enjoy listening to stories. I have noticed that they are making connections to those books we have been reading aloud and helping them grasp different concepts easier.

With the addition of these new books I'm hoping that my students become confident in their ability to read.
