This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work in a Title I school. Currently we are all home trying to distance learn and teach through Google Classroom. It has been a very difficult transition for my students.
My students are home with limited to no supplies. Most requested free devices through the city.
My Project
Since we are now learning from home, my students are in need of basic supplies. Most do not have pencils or paper at home to learn with. They need supplies to make sure they are able to complete the work and keep on learning.
The children I teach are wonderful, hard working students who need these supplies to do work at home. I would love to be able to supply them each with a bag of goodies to enable them to continue working hard. I want them to be able to feel that they can do it because we have provided them with the necessities to do it.
