My Students

My students are very excited about learning and love to come to school each day. They are passionate about helping the environment, doing yoga, reading funny stories, and learning the English language. In my classroom, we celebrate diversity and equality of all. Many of my students have already experienced a great deal outside of our classroom walls. School is a safe place for my students to have fun positive experiences and to build long lasting friendships.

My Project

My students are desperately in need of essential and basic school supplies at home in order to continue the school year due to COVID19. In addition, they also need these supplies next school year in order to complete at home projects and educational activities. Our school is a Title-One site, and all students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. In addition to this, our school consists of a high number of second language learners with a high number of refugee families. These essential and basic school supplies would be greatly appreciated and utilized to the maximum. By having access to these supplies at home, students can advance academically, artistically, socially, and be granted the opportunity to complete simple assignments outside of the classroom walls.
