This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have been diagnosed with various forms of disabilities, but their primary disability is autism and speech impairment. My students have extreme difficulties and deficits in the areas of language and social functioning, and they exhibit repetitive behaviors, interests, or activities and differences in sensory input.
Although each of my students exhibits sensory input in their own unique way, through effective strategies, their unique needs are addressed to enable them to learn.
One of these strategies is through the implementation of the sensory approach and social skills activities.
My Project
The disinfecting hand wipes will assist in maintaining a safe and healthy hand cleaning, as it is more accessible to reach than sinks, soap, and water. It will act quickly to kill microorganisms on the hands and body.
The disinfectant spray will help reduce the spread of bacterial and viral counts in the environment, hands, and body.
The facial masks will help prevent a person who is sick, or exhibiting symptoms of illness, from spreading bacteria or viruses to others. It helps keep respiratory droplets contained and from reaching other people in the classroom.
