Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class is full of vibrant, eager three-year-olds, who love learning, playing and interacting with their friends while experiencing school for the first time! Every day they are exposed to new ideas and materials. I love to capture every single one of these moments. These are memories that might not be captured again and they cannot be recreated. A new iPad would allow me to take pictures and videos of their amazing experiences. I can then share these memories with their families online using the ClassDojo app.

Technology is an integral part of our everyday lives, even in 3K classrooms.

A new iPad with a wide screen will help students build skills, improve vocabulary, experience the world beyond their classroom, solve problems, and learn literacy and math skills. Students with special needs would also benefit from this resource as another tool to enhance communication and developmental skills. In addition, 3K students are assessed authentically. These assessments are captured and uploaded online. An iPad would make this process faster and easier.
