Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager to learn. They are excited to explore new ideas, subjects, and concepts.

As new first-graders, the world is a gigantic place waiting to be touched.

For many of them self-expression has not yet found its place; for others, well, they're on their way.

The majority of my students will be learning by doing and not by going. Having the necessary tools to get them to reach their goals is essential.

My Project

I would like my students to be confident they will be afforded the proper tools to accomplish their tasks. This is true of their minds and their materials. With no worries about dried-up markers, or a surface with which to question and explore, great things can happen.

Dry erase markers and whiteboards offer a first grader an infinite universe of opportunities.

Utilizing the white boards and markers is awesome whether it's math, language arts, writing, art, etc.

Students should have a platform for problem-solving readily available. Having the boards and markers in their desks give the students the freedom to show evidence as well as creativity.
