This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My first official year as a computer science teacher is over. This year I will continue to teach computer science to scholars that are either in general education, special education, ICT and transitional bilingual setting. I want to take it to the next level. With the support of my library media specialist, we would like to have a drama/av club.

The scholars of my school have such a strong desire and drive to move to the 21st century in the arts and technology.

Our scholars are passionate and want to increase their knowledge and confidence with the use of technology and media.

My Project

These materials will provide our scholars a jump start to sounding amazing while performing. It will also provide opportunities for scholars to learn sound and theatre. To build their confidence and techniques of the arts.

Our scholars love to sing, dance, and act.

Theses materials will provide them with the agility to do those activities and much more. Students know how to project their voices outside but they are so accustomed to adults telling them to use inside voices, they don’t want to raise their voices when it’s time to shine. These mics will help students sound louder than ever, show how beautiful they can sing, and be able to move with easy through performances. For those students that are more behind the scene, they will learn how to use the sound boards and mics to become av technicians.

Our plan is to guide, mold, and lead them to the next level of the arts. We want to motivate and bring out their talents and techniques so that the world can get to see the next singers, actors, dancers and av technicians.
