AS Basketball: Building Our Basketball Program's Foundation

My students need basketballs for our practices and our games. It is imperative that we are able to secure our equipment in a secure basketball equipment rack. All of the fitness equipment will serve our students.

My Students

Greetings Friends and Donors, our main focus will always be to put the importance of the growth and well-being of our student-athletes well above the importance of winning and losing games. Our goal is to stress to our student-athletes the importance of important life skills such as punctuality, commitment, discipline and other skills as well. Our goal will be to make sure that all of my student-athletes graduate our school as respectful, well rounded young men. We will use the game of basketball as a vehicle to reach these objectives.

Our students' full investment in our basketball program allowed them to make tremendous strides in the classroom, school community and on the basketball court.

This past season was by far our most successful in school history, both on and off the court. Many of our students were able to improve their academic performances and become more punctual students. Each of our four seniors graduated and will attend college in the fall. The growth our students showed this past season was a testament to their dedication to our program.

My Project

The basketballs we are asking for will allow us to best utilize our practice and game time. Our school is a campus setting, and we will need to ensure that we can secure our equipment so our students can use it. Also, our school does not have the space for a weight room. The fitness equipment will allow our students to build their strength and fitness safely and efficiently.

Our students work extremely hard in the classroom and we are looking to build a foundation for our basketball program as well.
