My Students
I am a National Board certified teacher in Literacy. I work at a Title I middle school. Many of my students come from military families due to our location near several bases. Our school is diverse with learning styles, cultures, and interests. My students are hardworking, creative, critical thinkers. My students are future artists, inventors, authors, and natural leaders. Success is at their fingertips; I know that with the right learning environment, I will nurture each and every one of them.
My Project
The keyboard, Apple Pencil 2, and screen protectors requested will be used in connection with an iPad. The keyboard attaches to the iPad magnetically which eliminates the need for switches and plugs. More importantly, the keyboard serves as a front and back protective case for the iPad to ensure longevity for both the keyboard and iPad. The Apple Pencil will be used to create designs representing STEM ideas and challenges. Students will be able to digitally draw and share their designs with their teachers and other students. They screen protectors will keep the iPad protected from scratches.
