My Students

My students are warm, loving, caring, and always eager to learn and create amazing masterpieces. They have an immense imagination and love a good challenge. They are always thinking outside the box when sketching, painting, and designing. It's blissful to watch. They enjoy each others' company and ideas, especially during group projects.

They are true artists at heart.

However, how can an artist be all they can be without the proper tools at home and in school especially during COVID-19.

As a Title I school, we do not have an abundance of resources to purchase all the art materials needed to support our art classroom and so this is the main reason why I would love your help. I want to have a classroom environment that is welcoming, colorful, and full of imagination for all of my young artists and of course individual art media for home as well. I would love to have an ample amount of art tools to support all artists.

I want to provide my artists with a positive art experience they will remember forever.

My Project

I would love to have a Cricut and a Cricut Heat Press in my art class. The Cricut is an amazing tool, an art teacher's best friend. It has always been on my wish list. My students and I can use the Cricut in class to create personalized projects, bulletin boards and hallway displays, make signs, labels, and decals. It can be used to label supply bins, decorate the classroom with inspiring quotes, and simply just for fun. The possibilities are endless. I can certainly use the Cricut to create displays and decorations for our international ARTS festival, graduation ceremonies, an Art Show, and just about anything. Letters, shapes, and displays are super expensive to purchase and difficult to create as well as super time-consuming. Having this tool in the art will be wonderful and for sure fun and practical! Everyone can use it! The Cricut heat press is awesome for creating decals and personalized t-shirts. My students and I can create t-shirts with their artwork instead of purchasing ones.

We can even have a fundraiser too!

These two items will be a wonderful addition to my art class.
