Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach a Kindergarten class in a high need area of Texas. We do not have a art teacher in the school or any art supplies in my classroom of 25 students.

All students at this age love to paint and express their artistic vision through art. In my classroom we have no art supplies or a place to put supplies. So my students are limited to expressing themselves through crayons and paper.

With a four station art easel, brushes and lots of paint my students will be able to show the school and community their artistic vision through art. The arts are a important part of a education but it is often left out. Having these supplies make up for not have a art class to attend weekly.

Your help will bring joy and art education to my student this year. It will also bring years of enjoyment to the parents who receive the paintings.
