This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My precious ART Students are CREATIVLY eager, hard-working, enthusiastic, sponges to learn as well as love being a part of our Art Galleries, art competitions and in class sharing. In order to curate their original works of art; we use art portfolios which are the folders we are requesting. The students create an individualized original creative art composition for the cover of their portfolio folder. The students are very proud to have their own art portfolio to maintain all their original artwork to share with their parents at parents' conference and Fantastic Fridays; as well as taking their portfolios home at the end of the year. The older students can utilize this art portfolio for art auditions in their futures. This art portfolio not only curates their art, give the students confidence in viewing their art progress and utilizing this art portfolio for their future as well as sharing with their family and siblings. This upcoming school year will be an exciting one; when the first few weeks the students' expressions and appreciation for receiving their own art portfolio.
