This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's time to connect the arts and mental health! Our students experience high-stress levels coping with the demands of school, life, friendships and family. Help me create an Art TheraPLAY center for my students to use when they need to decompress.

We want to encourage our students to use art to improve their mental health and help them cope with stress.

These Art TheraPLAY resources will help our students to express their frustrations, feelings and thoughts artistically. Drawing, painting, beading and working with their hands helps them focus and gain control. Please help donate to give my amazing, resilient students a healthy outlet to express themselves.
