My Students

As an art teacher, preparing materials for students is nearly impossible without a paper cutter!

The students at my school are of all different cultures, and are economically challenged.

We are a Title I school and don't have all the resources that many other schools have. My dad has always said that you need the proper tool for the job, and my students need their teacher to have the proper tools.

My Project

I am requesting the funds to receive a paper cutter for the art classroom. As I teach younger elementary students, I often have them work on larger paper. Right now, there is not a paper cutter in my building large enough to cut our 18 x 24 inch paper.

Students love seeing their artwork 'framed' by larger construction paper as it is hung in throughout the building.

This gives the students a confidence boost and makes them feel that their work is valued. Please help us celebrate our student's artwork.
