Help Ms. Maldonado

Teaching kids has always been my passion. Currently I am the school coordinator but I teach a lot of enrichment classes after school, Arts and Crafts is one of my favorites. I teach students in grades K-6th and having them come to class and see art come alive is one of the best feelings ever. Our school is a low income school where our students are not always exposed to any extra curricular programs.

Currently we have very little money to continue this program and it would be a shame to have to stop it due to funds.

I need different art supplies to keep my program running. Glitter glue, foam sticks, wiggly eyes, mosaic paper, sun catchers. I choose a different theme each week and incorporate it with literacy, then we do our art project. When students leave the room they are always excited about what they create.

Your help will make it possible for our students to continue having arts and crafts class throughout the year.
