My students love doing arts and crafts. We do not have enough crayons, glue sticks, and markers in our classroom for all my students. We are often sharing our art supplies. This takes time away from what my students are able to craft and slows down their creativity.
I am requesting enough glue sticks, markers and crayons so each student will have their own supplies to use.
We also use crayons and markers to color code texts that we are reading. We look to find opinions and reasons to support those opinions in our different opinion pieces. We also use our crayons and markers to find main idea and details as well. The Post-its are for my students to use to mark up different words and parts of the texts that they are reading. The small post-its are the perfect size for them to to use as flags to mark interesting parts of the texts that they are reading. All of these supplies will help our days go smoother and increase our learning.
