Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I work with wonderful, creative Pre-K children in a high need school. They love to paint, draw, and make collages daily. We often learn academics through art and it is very enjoyable for the children to learn this way.

We are running very low on our art supplies. Once they are used, there are no more and they can be very expensive. With severe budget cuts, getting new art supplies is no easy task. They children love art and I would love to continue teaching them through art but we need new art supplies.

Our class needs watercolor paper, paint cups, paint, collage materials, frames, craft jars to store our materials in, and other art materials. These materials will allow the children to continue to be creative and learn through art.

Your support will make it possible for my students to be wonderful artists! By donating to this cause you will give the children the art materials they need to learn academics using art and to allow them to become the artists they want to be. Thank you!
