This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My mission to enhance the educational experience of our students through the provision of essential art supplies. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore and develop their creativity, and your support can make a significant difference.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds and have varying levels of access to art resources at home.

As an educational institution, we are dedicated to ensuring that all our students have access to quality art education. This is why we have turned to DonorsChoose.org, a platform known for its commitment to improving education in schools across the nation.

Our students require specific equipment to enhance their artistic endeavors. I am seeking support to acquire the following:

1. **Sewing Machine:** Our art curriculum is expanding to include textile and fabric art projects. A sewing machine is an essential tool for students to explore fabric art, create costumes, and work on collaborative textile projects. This versatile equipment will enable students to explore a new dimension of creativity, and it aligns with our goal to offer a comprehensive art education program.

2. **Pocket Projector:** To facilitate mural painting projects, we are in need of a high-quality pocket projector. This tool will be instrumental in transferring intricate mural designs onto walls accurately. It allows students to scale up their artwork, ensuring that every detail is faithfully recreated. With the pocket projector, our students can work on large-scale murals with precision and creativity, leaving a lasting artistic legacy within our school.

These additions to our art program will empower our students to explore diverse forms of artistic expression and develop their skills further. We kindly request your support in acquiring these specific tools to ensure the success of our future mural painting projects and textile art activities.
