Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work with 18 wonderful and creative Pre-Kindergarten students in a diverse school in Brooklyn, New York. The children love to engage in art activities every day. They have already used up a majority of our art supplies during the first month of school!

My Pre-Kindergarten students need art supplies!

I aim to incorporate art into everything we learn and give our little artists the opportunity to freely make art at center time but we need art supplies to make this happen!

My Project

My students absolutely love art! I don't think I have ever had a class where almost every student engages in art projects every single day during center time! Unfortunately, the children have already gone through the majority of our art supplies.

I would love to continue fostering their love of art!

You never know, the next Picasso may be in my class right now! All we need are the art supplies, so the little artists in my class can explore, engage, and experience art every single day! Art is so important and I integrate into all of the children's learning activities. It really makes learning hands-on, fun, and interesting!
