My Project

The requested materials will help my students’ inner artists come to life! First grade art is all about process art, not product art. All this means is that students develop art projects on their own from a variety of materials that are set right at their fingertips!

This allows students to know that their art means something!

The students will use the cardstock paper, markers, crayons, and other art supplies to be creative and learn in different ways.

When we create art for students or have them create cookie cutter art projects, they are not tapping into their creativity. When we allow students access to art materials and give them an idea, they are creating their art on their own. That is what these art materials will allow my students to do!
