Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative and intelligent! I am a kindergarten teacher at a small inner-city public elementary school in Los Angeles. My school is a Title I school where 100% of my students receive free lunch. We have been greatly affected by the budget cuts to education in California and we are experiencing more budget cuts this year.

My students deserve to have the resources they need to learn at home during distance learning.

Please help my young students get the resources they need to become successful!

My Project

During these difficult times ART is very important especially Distance Learning. My students ask every week if we are doing art.

My students love creating works of art at home during our ZOOM class time.

Art lessons provide a stress free time for their creativity to bloom. I make time for our daily art lessons where they can relax and forget that we are in a pandemic. Your donations will provide them with the paper, watercolors, and crayon supplies they need during these difficult times. Thank you very much for supporting public schools and students.
