My Students

Students come to my room for studio art and art history learning. About 120 students come to my art room everyday. They will benefit form have an organized space and place to store their books and art materials.

My students come from many diverse backgrounds.

I feel fortunate to work in a school that brings students together from different social and economic stages in life. Together in the art room we learn about art from very different social, emotional and economic backgrounds.

My Project

My students will use the requested art bins, art caddies, and art storage centers to more accessibly view their supplies and art work. Currently, artwork is stacked on desks and having the opportunity to display supplies and artwork will allow the students to easily find what they need to complete their art masterpieces.

This project will make a difference in the artistic ownership of individual students by giving them the power to navigate through the art space and guide themselves through their own artistic learning.

As artists, students can take pride in the art studio in which they work and help in keeping the studio clean and neat for other classes.
