My Project

My visual arts classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy between projects or moments of downtime. These books will continue enhancing the print-rich art studio and will prime my student to create their own comic strips and even short animations. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind-I have watched them the past few months of school read titles just like these, and I have also noticed many students who are hesitant to read but have found my small collection of graphic novels very engaging and also inspiring for their projects! For this project, I have partnered with local artists and working animators to facilitate virtual artist talks with my class!
