My Project

The beginning of Kindergarten can be so hard when we have to say good-bye to our families for the WHOLE DAY!

In our classroom we start each day with “Art Start”.

A time for kids to choose STEAM related activities to get them excited to come in and spend their day together.

Many items for this project will be used for our Art Cart where we store various art supplies that kids can be creative with. Last year students used this cart to make bracelets, cards/envelopes for friends and family, crowns, purses, books or artifacts about units we learned about, Pom Pom creatures and even swimming pools for their Pom Pom creatures. As well as anything else their creative minds thought up!

It can be hard to be at school all day, especially when you’re young. Adding fun and creativity can help students find joy in school and learning that they can carry with them their entire student career!
