My Project
It has come to my attention that something sensory would be a great help not only for art classes but for exceptional students when the time calls. Sensory walls provide multiple things. I have a cross cross-curricular team that planned the need and use of this wall. We will have sequins, bubble matt, crinkles, soft things, fuzzy things, and scaly things.
Sensory walls offer peace, play, learning and so much more.
The tactile space gives grace to not just physical feel but emotional and mental feelings and well-being. We all sometimes just need a break to feel what is around us. This wall space would provide that and so much more.
