My Students

Help make the artwork look nice! We need some supplies to help enhance the art program. The basics are great, but sometimes we need just a little more.

My students live in a rural farming town.

We don't have much access to museums or galleries, but we are very proud of our art program. Once a year the school has an Arts Fest to show off all the visual arts in our County Schools. When possible, I send their work to state contests and even the capitol for Youth Art Month. Although we may be rural, we work to be a big part of the state and local art community.

My Project

Simple things, like a mat cutter or books, help to enrich the program. Students should have pride in their work. By being able to show what they've learned, they increase their confidence and gain a sense of ownership in the art program. Mat cutters finish the work in a neat and professional way. Books give students another resource, beyond my own teaching, to explore their creative talents.

Art has a limited budget.

It's hard to get everything we need. By donating, you help to make the art program better for all students. We rely on donations from the community for help in the classroom.
