My Project

My students work hard each and every school day to grow as both learners and as human beings. In my classroom, we strive to create a culture where positive behaviors and interactions are the expected, encouraged, and rewarded.

It can be tough sometimes to make the right decision, but I encourage students to do so even when it proves to be difficult.

Creating a class store that rewards students for continuing to persevere and push towards maintaining positive behaviors, even when difficult situations arise, is something that this project will help me put into place.

With this project, a variety of options that I know my students love will be available for them to choose from. My students love the small fidget toys to play with and to help them focus and reduce distractions in the learning space. Having a variety of snacks for them to choose from will also provide options for each student to pick what they might like when they earn a reward.

I have carefully chosen items that I know my students will love and enjoy. Having those items available will challenge my students to work harder to achieve their own personal behavior goals in my classroom and, hopefully, carry those goals with them outside of the classroom as well.
