Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach art in the South Bronx. There are many, many talented boys and girls who absolutely love to make art. They are always excited to be creative. The tables, chairs and computer will allow me to set up an art classroom. Research and references will be shown on the computer and smart board. The space will allow children time away from their regular classroom and more opportunities to be artistic.

Projects include painting, drawing, collage making, and now they will be able to experiment with clay.

Art is hands on and a positive outlet for children to express themselves.
