Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class has worked all year long on some incredible art pieces. As the year has progressed, I've stored away each classroom project in order to create their end of the year art portfolios. The art portfolio will also include some of their writing pieces from the year. In the past, students have felt overwhelmingly proud of their work and love sharing it with their family and friends.

The end of the year art portfolio has become a 2nd grade tradition that brings joy to students and their families.

It is important for students to reflect on the year of learning they have endured, and I believe this portfolio gives them a guide. Students hold on to these portfolios for the majority of their life and are filled with joy to always have a piece of 2nd grade.

Ms. Alanna will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 5.
