Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Dear friends, I am a new art teacher in PGCPS, I am building my classes lessons and saw that we do not have any art materials to include printmaking projects (we would like to do some hand prints), sculpture projects (we would like to do some reduction sculptures) and paintings projects (using different techniques such as watercolors, acrylic paint and even oil paint). The donation will help me with the missing printmaking materials.

We do not have the funds to do art projects this is why I am turning to your kindness, so that my sweet students will have the great opportunity thanks to your help to create some wonderful art works; the material list refers mostly on printmaking material (all rollers can be reused the following years).

Please, I know it is a lot of art material but it is for a whole year for over 500 students and a total of 12 classes so now you will have realized that the materials is actually not much if you consider the amount of students and the number of classes. Furthermore some of the materials can be reused for the future classes. It would make me so happy to surprise my sweet students thanks to your help and create some fantastic hands on lessons. Of course I would post photos of all the best things we did for your pleasure too. I hope that by the end of August we will have reached this goal. I thank you in advance for your kindness and wish you all a great day.
