Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to create ,and I would love to have a means of preserving their works of art on such things as T-shirts. They can show off their unique talents and they can express themselves in ways that need no words.

Making friends and socializing is very difficult for children on the spectrum and I feel that expressing their art on a t-shirt will help spark conversation with their typical peers.

My students are very talented, sweet and kind.They enjoy being around their typical peers but struggle making friends. My goal is to find ways to help include them in ways that show their abilities rather than their disabilities.
