Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of my students have never had the opportunity to experience fun and engaging art making. Many of them have expressed to me that they have experience in drawing, but a lot of them have not had the opportunity to explore other media.

Clay, Suminagashi, and sculpture are all things that I would love for them to experience if I had the resources to do so.

I would love to help them create pinch pots and make jewelry holders, take home-made marbling paper to their parents/guardians, and see the amazing sculptures they can come up with.
