My students need display stands so that they can easily access the collection of art prints that we have.

My Students
Have you ever been looking for something and just can't seem to be able to put your hands on it. You know you have it because you just had it the other day. Once the frustrations sets in on not locating something it is very difficult for the aggravation subside and then NO learning takes place.
My students range in age from PK – 5th grade and we live in our Nation's Capital, the Mecca of museums and art galleries.
They are budding artists in their own right and have the capabilities to have their work hung next to the Master's in these great halls. I constantly compare them to great masters of all-time; I don't want to be the one that overlooks the next Leonardo, Michelangelo or Raphael. It gives them the confidence to excel beyond their wildest imagination.
We are in title-one school but you will never hear me mention that to them. They already have a fixed deck and my role as an art teacher is to try to level the playing field so that they have the same opportunities as anyone else and many times that starts with the resources; because they already have greater than or equal the talent level of ALL of their peers across the country.
My Project
Clutter, clutter is my room
every day I wonder what will bloom
to get the clutter out of my space
and every evening it’s a new race
about the urge to only clean
the art room's floor - well, I mean
there once WAS a floor down there
but maybe it has gone somewhere?
Maybe it's tired of all the stuff,
prints and posters thrown around it gets, rough...
But who am I to speak of order
when I myself am a professional hoarder
of stuff, overtaking my space
whatever I do, I have to win the race!
If not for me then do it for them -
I don’t want to lose kids amongst the mayhem!

The students will learn the art of organization and order, something their teacher has not been a champion of. The students will catalog and organize over 200 art prints according to artist and theme.
Searching for an art print in an art room would be one daunting task if the prints were arranged randomly.
That’s exactly how they are today in our space. Once we put them in ABC order they get thrown off when we have a project that needs more than one at a time. Even putting them back is a daunting task considering they are just piles high one on top of the other. With a display rack the students can have them arranged in a specified order than can have prints numbered and can be seen with ease
