My Project

My first grade students are eager and ready to produce art from the heart, in a school service project meant to promote vibrant displays of mobile student artwork.

Students will design, paint, and add creative accents and positive affirmations to bookmarks, friendship rocks, and designer paper placements which will be showcased throughout the school for other students to take.

The project’s primary goal is to enhance the elementary school environment with student art work, while simultaneously promoting a more personal sense of community. I want my students to revel in the creative process. I want them to come away with the understanding that art is a shared medium that provides benefits to everyone involved in it’s process.
