My Project

I am asking for supplies that will help my students explore new techniques and create art that they love. White watercolor paint enables interesting effects, and palette paper helps children create the precise color they need for their creation. Of course, good quality papers help us make good art that doesn't pill, curl up, or cause muddy colors. I'm also requesting art wire for sculpting and hair dryers so that it's easy for students to layer color on dry work and to create special effects.

Kindergartners are natural artists, and when they create they collaborate, discuss, and try new things in authentic ways.

These habits of mind enable lifelong learning as well as joy. Your support will provide so many meaningful moments.
