My Project

Dear Donors, I am reaching out to request your generous support in donating art supplies for my Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students. Our School believes that every child deserves the opportunity to explore and express themselves creatively, and your donation would play a vital role in fostering this experience for students.

Art education offers countless benefits, especially for young learners.

Art education provides not only a safe space for experimentation and discovery, but also emotional support for those who may struggle to find success in traditional academic areas. Many of my students find fulfillment, joy, and even escape through art—offering them a sense of accomplishment and pride that might be difficult to achieve in other subjects. Moreover, research from California’s leading art organizations, such as the California Alliance for Arts Education and the California Arts Council, consistently shows that arts education improves overall academic performance. Students who engage in creative activities exhibit higher levels of motivation, improved critical thinking, and better problem-solving skills. In addition, art helps develop social and emotional learning, which has a lasting impact on students’ mental health and well-being.

Your generosity will directly impact my students' educational journey, providing them with the tools to thrive both artistically and emotionally. I would be deeply grateful for any support you can offer for funding the purchase these materials. I am asking for watercolor paper, Bristol Paper, Tempera Paint Sticks, duct tape, beads, canvases, blank white masks, and other supplies that my students will use to create works of art!
