Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are happy, fun loving and eager to learn!! Although we have only met remotely, these Kindergarten kiddos are so enthusiastic about being in school. Each morning they begin the day with smiles and excitedly greet me and their new friends. They are learning each other's names and have started to build a virtual classroom community.

Bursting with energy and curiosity, these Kindergarten kiddos love to dance and sing, create and explore.

Each day they become more engaged in learning and willingness to take risk.

I look forward to providing endless opportunities for these young minds that are filled with excitement and desire to learn!

My Project

Normally, when in my classroom, I love to introduce students to great artist such as Mondrian, Kandinsky, Klee, Monet, Picasso and more... Learning about each artists' style and sharing their art pieces will build creativity, encourage risk taking, strengthen fine motor skills and provide emotional balance.

Providing these necessary art supplies will allow my students to have the same Art opportunity at home as in the classroom while we are distance learning.

My students will fill their home with their own masterpieces and spread the joy and love of Art!
