My Project

My elementary school students become more engaged when they know that if they exceed lesson expectations, they will receive a chocolate reward. We are also desperate for classroom sharpeners.

As financial and functional tools, we need these chocolate rewards, and sharpeners in our art classroom.

Our students have mostly newly immigrated to the US. They live in a financially challenging environment. We are a Title I school with 95% of the students qualifying for free lunch. That means chocolate bits are a welcome novelty to our mostly immigrant school population.

Ms. Wawa Oak Grove Elementary School Grades 3-5
