My Project

I teach art to incredible elementary students who are bursting with creativity! Despite teaching from a mobile art cart, my students are always excited to dive into new projects. They love experimenting with different materials and techniques, but, our mobile setup often presents challenges. With your help, I want to provide them with the right tools and improved organization to make each class a seamless and engaging experience.

My Project:

I am requesting sculpting tools, Sharpie paint markers, acrylic paint pens, easy-open plastic containers, book bins, and storage totes to enhance our mobile art room setup and help us stay organized.

The sculpting tools will allow my students to explore three-dimensional art, which they are eager to do. The Sharpie paint markers and acrylic paint pens will let them create detailed and vibrant artwork, encouraging them to experiment with new techniques and express their creativity.

In terms of organization, I need easy-open plastic containers for my art cart and book bins to store student sketchbooks. Additionally, our art closet has been a work in progress in terms of organization. With new storage totes, I’ll be able to finally organize it properly, making it easier to find the supplies we need for each class. This will give students more consistent access to materials and save valuable class time.

The Impact:

A well-organized cart and art closet will ensure that materials are always accessible, allowing my students to focus on their creativity and projects.
