Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first-year art students are enjoying exposure to various artistic media and materials. We are just needing a few basic supplies to finalize our needs for jewelry making and displaying their artwork already completed.

These kids have worked hard, learned a lot, and taken on new challenges in design and creating.

Now it's time to wrap it up, and display their work, and enter our final project for the year... jewelry making.

Most of these kids went from never holding a paintbrush to creating attractive and well-composed works of art in watercolor, acrylic, and pen and pencil. We have an art show coming up in April to showcase their work for family and friends.
