This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, enthusiastic, and caring! Their curiosity drives our class discussions and they push themselves past their comfort zone to continue to learn in this digital age.

They love to dive in and completely immerse themselves in what we’re learning.

They do most of their classwork and research on Chromebooks and have become proficient in using computers over the past few months. One of my goals is to have them be equally immersed in art, which is something they are passionate about.

They are a wonderful group of 4th and 5th graders!

My Project

I would like to provide my students with personal art sets so they can explore, express, and learn through painting and drawing at home! It's essential for students to be exposed to art and have the opportunities to be creative.

I have passionate students, and they love to express what they are learning or how they are feeling through art.

These art sets will give them the opportunity to do so at home. Virtual learning has come a long way, but there's no replacement for holding a paintbrush in your hand and letting your imagination go wild.
